Long Range Automotive approached us to design them a modern looking new dynamic website, that their customers could easily navigate. We identified the goals of the website and got to work. The website has massively increased conversion (3x) even against modest growth in visitors per day.
Which One Fits My Vehicle?
One of the primary concerns of the website is to help the customer figure out what products are available for their specific vehicle model. Customers can filter the range by their vehicle details (make, model, year, fuel type, drive, etc...) and from there they see a list of applicable fuel tanks. Often there are subtle changes within the same vehicle model that must be accounted for. This feature also allows their distributors to see their wholesale price.
Where can I buy one?
Long Range Automotive have an extensive distributor network, spanning not just Australia but the globe. They required a tool to help customers find their nearest distributor, so they could get in touch to purchase a tank. We also built a feature to automatically notify the closest distributors when a quote request was placed from the website.
Too Much Data
Long Range Automotive have over 150 products, which fit over 4000 different vehicle variants. We built a clever importer that ingested an excel spreadsheet to make large changes (like price increases) as easy as editing a spreadsheet. We also built a tool that allows Long Range Automotive distributors to login and download their complete pricelist.
